Our Story
Streama started because I was completely sick of racing against my TV remote. Every time I turned on a streaming app for my daughter, I’d get this rush of pure dread. I’d find myself frantically speed-scrolling through the homepage, desperately trying to block her view before she spotted a thumbnail or trailer she shouldn't see.
Every parent knows how that goes, if they see it, they want it, and suddenly you're stuck playing the bad guy and saying "no" for the hundredth time that day.
I kept wishing there was just one spot where I could put all the shows I actually approved of. Just a safe little corner where she could feel big and make her own choices, and I could actually walk into the kitchen and make dinner without worrying. Since that didn't exist, I built Streama.
