Our Story
I built Streama because I was tired of feeling like managing my child’s screen time had become a job of its own.
The shows were scattered across different apps. Ratings rarely told me what I actually wanted to know as a parent. And even when I felt good about what she was watching, turning it off could undo the whole experience.
I kept thinking: Why isn’t there one place built around the way families actually use streaming?
So, I started building Streama, a place where parents can intentionally curate shows for their kids to watch, learn from the experiences of other parents, and create more predictable transitions when screen time is over.
Not to eliminate screens. Not to make parents police every minute.
Just to make kids’ streaming feel a little more intentional, a little less overwhelming, and a lot more designed around families.
Because what they watch matters. And how we help them move on from it matters, too.
Mission
Streama is a unified, parent-governed hub that replaces digital overwhelm and rigid controls with an intentional content streaming practice. By turning structured parental wisdom into trusted, data-driven content curation, we provide the families with tools to form healthy habits early, manage off-screen transitions with ease, and build the lifelong digital literacy children need to engage responsibly with digital content.
Vision
A digital home where streaming is an intentional family experience, free from stimulation driven chaos, that prepares children to own their attention in an increasingly demanding digital world.

"I started Streama for parents who want screen time to feel a little less chaotic. We’re building a simpler way for families to choose what comes in, understand what their kids are watching, and make streaming feel more intentional."
