What is Streama?
Streama is a parent guided streaming hub designed to make kids’ screen time more intentional. Parents choose what belongs in their child’s library, get more meaningful insights into content, and create predictable cues that help kids transition when screen time is ending.

Does Streama replace Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, or other streaming services?
No. Streama brings the content your family already has access to into a simpler, parent-curated experience. You’ll still need subscriptions to the streaming services you want to use.

How is Streama different from parental controls?
Most parental controls focus on what kids can’t do. Streama starts with what you want them to watch. Instead of constantly blocking content, parents intentionally build a library of shows they already feel good about.
 

Does Streama recommend shows to my child?
No endless recommendation feed. Your child’s Streama experience is built around the content you’ve chosen for them, not whatever an algorithm decides should play next.
 

How do Streama’s parent ratings work?
Age ratings don't always tell you what you actually want to know. Streama is being designed to give parents more useful context around a show,from themes and intensity to the things other parents noticed while watching with their own kids.
 

What are Streama’s transition cues?
Instead of screen time suddenly ending, Streama gives kids progressive cues as their viewing time gets closer to being finished. The goal is to make stopping feel more predictable and give kids time to prepare for what’s next.
 

Can I create different libraries for different children?
Yes. Streama is being designed around individual child profiles so parents can curate differently based on each child’s age, interests, sensitivities, and needs.
 

Will Streama be available on phones, tablets, and TVs?
That’s the goal. We’re designing Streama to fit the way families actually watch, not force families into another complicated system. Specific device and platform support will be announced as we get closer to launch.
